New 18 Pitch climb in Mazama Wa

Donation protected
This bolting fund  is to help with the costs  of developing the New 18 pitch 5.9+ climbing route on the Goat wall in Mazama.  All costs to date have been absorbed by Jerry Daniels and Bryan Burdo, the two route setters that have put up this challenging and new climbing route. We have completed 90% of the route to date but the encroaching winter has shut us down for the year. Come early spring the duo plans on finishing up this beast and openning it up to the public. "I have no doubt that it will become the most popular route in Washington State and will also draw climbers from outside the state as well", said Bryan.

A bit of history.
Bryan Burdo has been the driving force behind climbing in Washington state, developing coutless climbing routes in different parts of the state. Spending at least 30 years exploring and developing climbing routes from 5.6 beginner routes to 5.14 testpieces, Bryan is Mazama climbing. Jerry Daniels came on to the scene 5 years ago with a curiosity for development, exploration and he has developed crags alone and in conjunction with Bryan.  The two have now paired up and  Mazama is poised to become the  go to climbing destination of Washington state.  Any donation will be greatly appriciated and put to good use developing new crags and  maintaining current ones.  looking forward to seeing you  on the rock!
