Fundraiser for Rajasekar's funeral

I am Kathambarivasan (Vasan), and I am writing to share some deeply sad news and seek your support during this difficult time. My father, Rajasekar (age 60), passed away suddenly on May 9, 2024, in Tamworth, NSW, Australia, due to cardiac arrest. Our family of four, which includes my mother, my sister, and myself, resides near Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India.

My father had moved to Australia in 2020 to work on a farm, hoping to support our family’s financial needs while my sister and I pursue our university studies. His unexpected passing has left us devastated and facing significant financial challenges.

Given the high costs involved, we have made the difficult decision to perform his funeral in Australia, rather than bringing him back to India. My sister and I have applied for visas to travel and conduct the final rites, but my mother, unfortunately, cannot join us as she does not have a passport.

The total estimated cost for the funeral and other associated expenses is approximately AUD $15,000. We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for assistance.
