Support Baby Isla's NICU Journey

On March 11th, Anna was experiencing severe preeclampsia and hypoxemia. Due to the severity of Anna’s condition and the dangers to the baby, they were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Seattle, which is an hour from home. Shortly after arriving in Seattle, Anna went in for an emergency C-section. At only 3.87 pounds, baby Isla made a sudden entrance into the world.

Premature at 31 weeks and 2 days gestation, baby Isla is looking at a long NICU stay. Brandon and Anna will have to make several trips between home and the NICU, as they have Isla’s sister Avery to also care for.

We are raising money for the Mikkelborg family to help ease the financial burden of long hospital stays, commuting to and from the NICU, supplies, and other essentials that were not anticipated.
