Hi everyone! My name is Abbi, and I am a 6th grader at Tioga Elementary. I have been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM camp this summer in Dallas, Texas. I will have the opportunity to explore a future career in three STEM pathways including medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation. From what I understand, this will be a very hands on experience based camp where I will learn many invaluable lifelong skills along with many other high achieving students.

What I thought was even more cool is that I might be the first completely Deaf student they have had. I am so excited to get the opportunity to hopefully show others that even though I can’t hear, doesn’t mean that I won’t be able to succeed in a STEM type career someday.

I was awarded a $500 scholarship, but still need a little help with the total costs. If you can donate, I would greatly appreciate your help.
