My name is Inika, and together with my brother, Lu, we are creating this GoFundMe to honor our mother, Shanika, and give her the beautiful memorial she deserves. She passed on December 4th, 2025, and our hearts are broken as we adjust to life without her.

Our mother was loving, strong, and resilient. She fought through so much, and even until the very end, she held on with everything she had. Her passing was sudden and incredibly hard for us to process, but we are grateful for every moment we had with her.

This GoFundMe is simply to help us put together a memorial that reflects who she was — a woman who loved deeply, cared endlessly, and deserved to be celebrated with dignity, honor, and peace.
