Fighting with Sharyn
Donation protected
On the 27th of March 2013 my Aunty, Sharyn, was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, multiple surgery complications and radiation therapy, she was in remission. A few years pass when she notices another lump. After some convincing, doctors agreed to run some tests only to find there was another tumour. The cancer was back. Sharyn has been forced to stop working as she undertakes chemotherapy. As a wife and a mother of 2 young girls (9 & 12), it can be hard to support the family on a single wage.
On the 17th of August 2018, a fundraising event will be held where friends and family will shave, donate and colour their hair in support of Sharyn. All funds raised for this event will go directly to Sharyn’s family to help support them through this difficult time. Please donate if possible, whether it’s $1 or $10- every dollar counts! Our current goal is $1000 but that is hopefully just the starting point and not our limit.
