Braxton’s Recovery: Spine Injury
Donation protected
Early in the morning on May 9th, Braxton, my sweet pup—suddenly couldn’t stand or walk. It came out of nowhere. By the end of the day, I rushed him to the emergency vet.
After being referred to a specialty clinic, we got the devastating news: Braxton has a spinal injury that’s affecting his nerves and lower body. Without surgery, he won’t be able to walk again, play, run around or be his silly self. The quality of life and care required without the surgery unfortunately letting him go becomes the best choice…for him.
That thought alone has broken me. He has saved me in ways no one may ever know and I simply cannot imagine life without him.
The surgery he needs is urgent and will cost between $10,000 and $12,000. It’s not something I ever expected, and it’s not something I can manage alone. If you can help—whether it’s through a donation, sharing this with others, or simply keeping us in your prayers—I’d be endlessly grateful.
