The Stairwell Project

Donation protected
The Stairwell Project is a unique program of live music provided by professional musicians in the open public spaces and Oncology wards of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Started in 2015 by Jugglers Art Space Inc co-founder & Director Peter Breen, the Stairwell Project’s musicians have endeared themselves to hundreds of people and added a new uplifting element through their music to the tough clinical environment of this large city teaching hospital.

The team of musicians are all professionals with the majority of them graduates of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

As we work to develop the next phase of this project with the RBWH over the next 5 years, we are appealing to those who have been touched by this program and those who understand the impact of music on recovery to work with us on donation strategies and plain hard cold cash to keep this innovative program alive and thriving.

Many thanks.

Peter Breen/Curator.
