Fighting Stage 4 Cancer: A Father’s Last Chance

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am writing with a heavy heart to ask for your support for Cohrion Arnold Malone, a father, son, and brother who is facing a devastating diagnosis. Cohrion has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic gastric adenocarcinoma, a terminal form of cancer at just 30 years old. The doctors have given him 6 months to a year to live, but with the proper treatment, we believe he deserves a chance to fight for more time, especially with his two young children.

Cohrion has been incarcerated for the last 9 years, and for the past 3 months, he has been complaining of severe stomach pain. Unfortunately, his concerns were dismissed, and he was ignored until the pain became so intense that he was finally taken to the hospital on April 3, 2025. There, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. To make matters worse, Cohrion is currently being treated unjustly: he is being denied access to clean water, given the wrong pain medications, and falsely told that he is refusing care, when in fact, he is actively seeking treatment.

Cohrion’s condition requires urgent and aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation therapy. However, he has no insurance, and the care he needs is simply beyond his current situation. His family is heartbroken to see him suffer, especially knowing that he could be receiving better care if he were outside the prison system.

In addition to his medical needs, we are actively pursuing a compassionate release so that Cohrion can receive proper treatment in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loved ones. His two sons, ages 14 and 9, need their father more than ever. They deserve every moment they can have with him, and we are determined to make sure Cohrion has the time to be with them and provide the love and support they need.

We are asking for your help to raise funds for Cohrion’s medical expenses, including the costs of chemotherapy, radiation, and any necessary treatments. These funds will also support his legal efforts to gain compassionate release so he can receive the care he deserves.
