Camryn Lester, a.k.a. "Doodie", "Big Hungry" ..was born February 19, 2016 with a liver problem. Despite the challenges her health problem gave her she was full of life. She loved to laugh and give big kisses. She also loved to eat, which is how she got her nickname. Her smile was addictive. How it warmed us all... especially big Cam and SheShe.
From the date of her diagnosis her mom and dad have been the biggest advocates for her healthcare. Many days of work were missed, due to numerous doctors appointments, specialists and the hospital stays. All in hopes of a new Liver. They even relocated to Dallas after having waited 15 months in Saint Louis for a liver transplant.
It's with a heavy heart that we tell you, Cami's fight is over. She was lost October 31, 2017 after a lengthy ICU stay. Her mom and dad, as well as grandma's practically lived at the hospital during her last stay. She was always surrounded by love!
Unfortunately, life insurance was not an option for Cami.
Contributions toward the Cami Strong fund will help her mom and dad cover the many expenses that have overwhelmed them. And give them time to grieve.
