5th Grade Trip to State Capital

We are a group of three 5th Grade teachers, that teach at a hard to staff school, Title 1 school, with a diverse population of students. Our school is located in the heart of the Misssion in San Francisco and is a dual-immersion Spanish language school.  By providing support you will be helping our 5th graders paricipate in a memorable field trip to the state capital. Since we are a Title 1 school, 70 % of our students receive free or reduced lunch.  Most of our students have never been presented with an opportunity to experience an overnight field trip or leave the city of San Francisco. Please us empower our students by providing them with an opportunity to experience hands on the history of our state. The funds will cover the cost of transportation, hotel, and food. We greatly appreciate the support you are providing our under-served students.
