Support for Jordan

Hello family and friends! We have had a lot going on in the past few months and doctors have ordered Jordan to stay home and deemed him unable to work. With a heavy heart, Jordan has been diagnosed with now stage 3 brain cancer. He has tried asking for government assistance and they have denied help. With all the future radiation appointments coming, doctors’ visits and possible surgery, we are asking for help. Here is a little background of how it led to the diagnoses. We will put updates as much as we can. Please help us get him the best treatment he needs to fight this!

Back in August Jordan wanted to go to CDL school. The last week of training he was studying to test out he was having trouble reciting the study material back to his trainer. At first, we thought it was nerves, but to be safe, he went to be seen by a doctor. He found out he had a stroke and had to come home. We scheduled him to have an MRI and found out there were abnormal readings on the scan. We also noticed some weakness in his hands.

Second week of October, I had to take him to the ER because he was having chest pain and the whole right side of his body was numb. They took him straight back to rule out a stroke. Good news no stroke and no heart attack but they were concerned about the right sided weakness and referred him to a neurologist.

Since the beginning of November, he saw his primary doctor and her concern for the abnormalities on the scans; she decided to consult with an oncologist since the pandemic it’s been very hard to see any specialist. The oncologist confirmed that the abnormalities were tumors. A total of four tumors, 2 benign and 2 cancerous. A few days before Thanksgiving the doctors gave Jordan the prognosis that he has stage 1 brain cancer.
He has continued to see his primary doctor with the oncologist advice to take a pill form of chemotherapy and has increased the dosage each week.
• Week 1: 1 dose per day and then increase to 2 pill dosage. Had developed a total of 8 tumors but 2 had decreased in size. It seemed like it was going in the right direction. Told Jordan to stick with the 2-pill dosage.
• Week 2: Back at the doctors to have another scan. There was more good news of one tumor was gone and no other changes with the other tumors plus no new ones have formed.
• Week 3: Doctors again to see any changes and three have formed with a total of 10. Now, it has changed from stage I to now stage III.
The doctors are now saying that chemo/radiation is the next step. Possible surgery.
