A Dear Friends Long Road To Recovery
This is my dear friend Scott Robinson. Scott is an avid poker player and it was in a local poker game that we met and became great friends. It was easy to like Scott, he is a good player, friendly to all who have crossed paths with him, animated and amicable. Like many of us, he was living the American dream, working hard at his job in the hotels industry, loving husband and father and newly minted grandpa. Suddenly, in the summer of 2017, he suffered a massive stroke in the home of his son surrounded by family. In an instant, he went from being a super active husband, father and grandfather to being in a coma with severe ailments. He has spent many months in hospitals and rehab facilities and will now be in a wheelchair. Families are never prepared for the emotional stress of having a loved one in this circumstance, add in the financial burden of renovating ones home for wheelchair access and other renovations and it becomes daunting. As his friend and colleague, I have started this go fund me page to help him and his family get back on their feet, will you please join me in helping them?
