Aaron's Mission Trip to Turkey

Hello to you all. First of all thank you for loving me enough to read through this but here goes nothing.
God, Metro Community Church , and loved ones in my life have made it possible for a very important door to be opened in my life. There are instances where I have looked behind the door for too long and dealt with it being closed on me, but finally it has swung wide open.
In February, my heart takes on Turkey to minister and assist the refugees of Syria who have been displaced due to the current conflict surrounding the area.
I am excited. I am scared. But I feel that I am called to go and love wherever love is needed. Albeit this may be my first missions trip and I am heading into Turkey of all places, but even Jesus’ disciples had to have started somewhere…right?
It is necessary that I take this leap of faith and step out of my comfort zone for the 10 days (February 2016) of this mission because it is on my heart to do so.

Together, my team (pictured above) and I will have many opportunities to bless and hopefully assist the refugees by teaching three key things: entrepreneurship, education, and most importantly prayer. My hope is to be on the team that is primarily responsible for education which would entail teaching children and young adults about the Gospel, English, and whatever else God has bestowed upon me to offer. I unfortunately cannot go into too much detail in regards to this trip on a public forum, so if you would like to know more about my mission, whereabouts, and my progress please contact me directly for more information!
I generally hate asking for help, but I am asking you for your help. The trip to Turkey causes a huge financial burden, life is unexpected, but all in all I have found that people are generous and love to give. If you cannot give a single penny I promise I will still love you wholeheartedly, but promise me that you will give me your thoughts, prayers, encouragements, and energy.
The funds that I raise through GoFundMe will be used for purchasing my plane tickets, lodging accommodations, and any educational material I can purchase from the U.S. and bring over to Turkey.
God is good, my loved ones are supportive, and there is no doubt in my mind that this missions trip will result in success and help me come back as a changed man.
Won’t you be a part of the journey?
