For the LOVE of Mitchael
Donation protected
Hello,
It has been over a year since Mitch's death. It took 6 months before we were informed of the details from the Medical Examiner. They did not find any mind altering hallucinogens in his system. Ultimately, his untimely death was brought on by the Gay bashing hammer wielding homeless man. The article's and news clip still haunt me. He incurred brain damage that lead to the onset of schizophrenia. He was becoming delusional and paranoid. I still can't believe it as i write it.
Many of you have asked where can you make a donation. At the time i didnt have an answer...until today! The Church in which we held the memorial is undergoing a massive restoration. This Church built in 1836 was against oppression and prejudice as it's doors opened. In 1840 a Parishioner was ousted because he gave a sermon that spoke against slavery. St. Peter's was one of the first Churches to allow memorials for Aid's victims while others turned their backs. This Church was filled with LOVE from the beginning. :-) Father Harding approached me with a fantastic idea...restore a STAINED GLASS WINDOW. How appropriate..the windows are filled with love and color! It's art at it's best! IT'S MITCH! I know we are all approached often with donation requests..a little will go a long way. Together his name will live on at St. Peters!
