On the 4th July 2026, I’m taking on a personal endurance challenge to honour my mum and give back to the community she loved.
I’ll be running 60 kilometres in total, made up of 6 × 10km runs, starting every second hour, on the hour, across one long and demanding day.
The number isn’t random - this year my mum would have been turning 60, and each kilometre is a quiet way of marking a birthday she should still be here to celebrate.
This run isn’t about speed or records. It’s about endurance, remembrance, and showing up, even when it’s hard. Much like grief, it’s one step at a time.
All funds raised will go towards the Raphoe Badminton Club Restoration Fund and the Raphoe Community Playgroup, two organisations that sit at the heart of the community and have been deeply meaningful to our family over the years.
Thank you for supporting this run, this cause, and the memory of someone who meant the world to me. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement truly matters.
