Hogue Family Harvey Recovery Fund

My aunt Melanie and uncle Chris have been hesitant to put a gofundme campaign together for Hurricane Harvey Recovery. However, friends and family have been asking where they can donate. So many people were so generous after their home flooded in April 2016. After it was all finally getting back to normal, they had no idea what was in store when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston.

Days of torrential downpour led to the worst flooding they have ever experienced in their home. On August 25th, the water became so high that they were evacuated by boat. They had little time to prepare. Melanie, Chris and boys only made it out with little more than clothes on their backs.

Re-entry date for their home is unknown. They have been provided temporary housing through FEMA for a few weeks. They will be without a kitchen and responsible for their own food.

They were 6 weeks away from moving into their new home. However, this has been put on hold.
