Hello, my name is Lucca, aka SpookaLucca, and I am raising funds for my friend Ryah, who is really struggling right now and has no other way to get the help she needs.

Ryah is a trans woman from Mexico moving through the incredibly expensive refugee and immigration process to immigrate to Canada. She doesn't have support from her family, anywhere else to go in case of emergency, or any form of financial security right now. She struggles with multiple complex intersecting disabilities, and has struggled to find work after having been illegally fired from her previous position.

Right now, Ryah is in an especially debilitating acute bout of (currently unidentified) illness that has made every day a total slog. She is working her way through the medical system in search of answers and relief, and the absolute last thing she needs right now is additional stress from having to make impossible choices about how to spread her insufficient resources across food, rent, and medicine. Unfortunately that is the exact situation she is in right now, so we are raising money to provide her with enough stability for her to come out the other side of her current medical issues and the immigration process intact, and get her back on her feet.

We've set the goal at an amount that would let her make rapid progress with getting diagnosis for her illness and help her afford a few necessities during that process as well. Thank you so much for helping Ryah out!
