4 marathons in 4 days for Mellon Educate

Every year, Mellon Educate organises their now renowned “building blitz” trip to Africa for volunteers from all over the world to travel and lend a helping hand building better schools in poor areas in South Africa.

This year, to raise money for the trip, I’m doing The Walk of the Worlds (in Dutch known as De Vierdaagse van Nijmegen). A four day walking event during which I will walk 160 km! Yes, that’s pretty much 4 marathons in 4 days!

The event takes place July 19-22, but I’ve been training for it since January!
