Jonathan’s Post Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
My name is Jonathan and I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and required a bone marrow transplant to move forward in life. I was first treated at Grady hospital prior to my transplant with no insurance. I received four sets of chemo therapy over a 4 month period which were all required to be inpatient therapy. My insurance didn’t become active until my transplant where I was treated at Emory hospital 3 months after my last set of chemo therapy treatment. After my transplant I have had anemia complications and have continually visited the hospital weekly for the past year and a half. The anemia has affected everything due to lack of energy and reduced red blood cells. Times are getting really rough due to the hospital bills and household bills. Secondly being unemployed and disabled it’s difficult to make ends meet with no consistent income making it even more difficult to function. I now take medications that are extremely expensive which have to be purchased weekly. Im currently struggling to pay bills from two hospitals and moving into the collection process also purchasing medications. I’m asking anyone who can help out the kindness of your own heart please donate to my cause, anything will help. Thank you and God bless.
