Rescue Guilford County Cats & Dogs
Donation protected
On August 17th, North Carolina state officials revoked the license of the group operating the Guilford County Animal Shelter for routinely failing to provide adequate care for animals in their facility. This action left numerous animals in limbo and in need of rescue.
Guilford County officials, who are currently running the shelter, contacted our small rescue, Juliet's House, to help during the crisis. In the past few days, we've taken in more than 45 of the most needy cats and kittens at the shelter. Most are sick. Many are moms with newborns. Some are bottlefeeders. A good number of them likely would not have survived the crowded conditions in the shelter if not for our intervention.
Taking in so many animals at once has severely strained our resources. We desperately need funds to provide veterinary care and medicine for cats suffering from respiratory and eye infections, for vaccines, for FIV and feline leukemia testing, and for spay and neuter surgeries. With proper, loving care, these sweet kitties can enjoy a great future with furrever families.
Juliet's House Rescue is a 501(c)(3) so donations are tax deductible. We are volunteer run and 100% of all donations will go directly to helping these cats and kittens get healthy and find good homes. All donations appreciated. Thank you for helping.
