Hi, I am reaching out to those whom are willing and able to help my dear friend Sheronda Patton during her, and her daughters time of need. Her daughter Noa Reign Blessed this earth three years ago at 25 weeks (1 lb 4 oz) and has overcome time and time again, with great strength. She has been in plastic and craniofacial and ear and nose and throat hospitals, in which she is currently at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. She has been followed in the hospital/clinic for management of her tracheostomy dependence, subglottic stenosis, and airway obstruction. Noa has needed ongoing treatment such as surgeries, reconstructions, sleep studies, check up appointments, and in home/school nurse for the management of her tracheostomy dependence. In addition, Noa has a gastrostomy tube for medications and medical equipment for various needs.
Through her extensive care, her mother Sheronda Patton is unable to have employment, as it is her sole responsibility and obligation to be present and active for her daughter at all times; for safety, regulatory, and comfort demands. She is a single mother whom goes above and beyond to ensure that her daughter gets the care that she needs to keep fighting this fight for her precious life. However, sometimes the fight becomes to much for one individual. Thus, it is time for community to step in and assist to lift the load.
Currently, she is swarmed with extensive medical bills, as well as overwhelmed with the constant inability to successfully maintain her rent and living expenses. At this time, she is facing eviction, in which her doctors have advocated on her behalf to be released from her lease obligations, without success. Any help that can be provided to her during this trying time to catch up on months of rent, and bring her current would help tremendously. Also, it would provide her the means to be able to sufficiently keep herself, and her baby fed as she continues to seek full recovery. However, she does undergo another procedure on 06/19/23 and will need therapy to follow.
You all are greatly appreciated and if unable to help financially, prayers are also sufficient in getting this young mother and her daughter through.
