Memorial Fund for Isaiah Killen

There are a lot of things a person plans for at 37, but your own funeral isn’t usually one of them. In October 2015 Isaiah was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. Shortly after he was diagnosed the doctors told Isaiah that the cancer was incurable, but Isaiah still didn’t give up hope or the fight to live. In the winter of 2016 he underwent several rounds of chemo, but had to stop because of a severe allergic reaction.  After that he tried oral chemo, but it didn’t prevent the cancer from spreading. This summer he went through 10 very intensive rounds of radiation, but his health has continued to deteriorate.




Isaiah has fought, hoped and prayed but his time on this earth will be coming to an end, probably within the next few days. He and his family have started to plan for his funeral and memorial service. Isaiah has requested that they don’t do anything extravagant or expensive. They are planning for a cremation, which will cost $1895. This doesn’t include any service, flowers or other expenses.




Isaiah is one of my best friends. There are so many people that love him and we are all heart broken that we are going to have to say goodbye. He’s an exceptional person that has brightened the lives of those around him. He is the kind of guy who always puts other’s needs before his own. He has done this many times for me and my family and now I want to help provide a memorial service to honor the kind, good man that he is and the life he has led. My goal is to raise $4000 for the cremation and to help provide a service to honor his life.
