Sharon's Journey

My name is Holly Cerce and this is the summary of the reason for this account.
My daughter Sharon Cerce is a beautiful, vibrant 32 year old mother of three children, ages 5, 4 and 1. She lives in Mesa Az with her fiance and their children. Her father and I along with three of her other siblings and many wonderful friends live here in New York.
Approximately five months ago I got a phone call that Sharon had a seizure. She was rushed to the hospital and a scan of her brain revealed a mass. After dozens of tests and finally brain surgery to biopsy the mass, it was revealed to be terminal brain cancer-stage 3 glioma. The terminology is Anaplastic Astrocytoma, with a five year life expectancy.
Devastation is an understatement.
Sharon has undergone radical radiation therapy along with several weeks of chemotherapy. She is currently on another regimen of chemo now that will last for a year.
The reason for this journey is to bring Sharon and her family back to New York. She is not able to fly so she would have to drive across country. She so desparately wants to bring her belongings with her. At first I tried to convince her to sell everything. However, when I thought about it, I knew in my heart that it was unfair to ask her to do that. She has been on her own for many years and has built her life out there in Arizona. To ask her to let all her things go is not right.
The cost to move five rooms of furniture and all their belongings, added along with the cost of renting a vehicle to accomadate six people (the 5 of them and another driver) across country is exorbitant.
We are trying to bring Sharon home to New York to be with her family so that we can help her and support her and hopefully alleviate some of the stress she is facing everyday.
Please help us to complete Sharon's journey by bringing her home. We want the rest of her life to be the best of her life. We pray that being around her family and close friends will prolong her life.
This is our last resort to try to help our daughter. This tragic event has profoundly affected everyone in our family as well as her close friends. But more then anything it has devasted Sharon. She is so scared that her children will grow up without her. She is so afraid of the sickness she deals with constantly. She so needs as much help as she can get.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank anyone who has taken a moment to read this.
