Sabrina's Rally Against Cancer!

Hello, and thank you for clicking the link.
It was only a few weeks ago when I was at work and had received that phone call nobody ever wants to get. My mother screaming and crying, completely unable to keep it together; her sister, my Godmother Sabrina was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. She was then not alone, as I became speechless and eager to hang up so I can go hide and begin my own screaming and crying.
Those who are fortunate to know my Aunt Sabrina would say she is quite the unique spirit. Magical, vibrant, elegant and enchanting is her aura, brilliant and cultivated is her brain, George Carlin is her sense of humor, family first, loving, selfless, caring, kind, loyal and Rod Stewart are her heart and soul!! (Smiles)
She has a loving husband, my Uncle Bobo and two daughters, Alana and Brianna whom I was raised with side by side and am fortunate enough to call my sisters. She has two sisters, Jennifer and Shaunna, who is also my mom. Their parents, my grandparents, Ellen and Jerry, flew to NY with my mother immediately after learning the true serious nature of this unbelievable, evil, life-threatening illness. Sabrina would say "Poppa Billy", her biological father, is painting beautiful pictures in some other realm.
This has been an absolutely horrifying shock to our whole family as not only does she have Stage Four Breast Cancer but she's had it for four years and is learning more and more every day of what not knowing you have cancer for four years entails.
She was rushed to NYU Langone in Manhattan, NY ( she lives in NYC and will forever ) After numerous tests, and there are many more to come, it has been discovered that this cancer has spread all over her body and has multiple tumors, one of which rests on her spine and is a major risk factor in leading her to be paralyzed if it's not already too late for treatment. My whole immediate family that does not live in NY ( my mother and grandparents) have flown in from Florida as well as the rest of her family from all over to be by her side during these haunting and emotionally overwhelming stages.
This is not something I could have EVER imagined happening. To Aunt Brini?!? NEVER. It seems like it was only yesterday when our whole family, her as the matriarch, were walking all over Manhattan spreading my Grandfathers ashes all across the Hudson. She was all fabulously dolled up with her beautiful coat, just completely full of life as her beautiful self, commanding our next move with style, the Sabrina that we all know and love. ( that's just how she rolls :)
I cannot even begin to imagine how she feels. I cannot even begin to imagine what my uncle or two cousins feel. This has been the most emotionally painful experience of my life and I've been through a lot.
There is a long road ahead that is completely mysterious. And my Aunt is not the type of person who believes in the medical establishment although at this point she doesn't have much of a choice. She believes in energy. Positive and loving energy. I have started this campaign to help her and her household during these unbelievably hard times. Due to the seriousness, money is going to be needed to help cover medical costs and all other related expenses such as the house nurses that are going to be needed. She is also going to be seeking HOLISTIC and unconventional treatment due to the seriousness and that is something insurance companies will not touch and is very costly but may just save her life.
Anything would help. Even $1.00. And if that is not possible all I ask is for your positivity and to say a prayer for her and my family. She has spent her life as a dedicated mother and as a selfless loving woman helping anyone who has crossed her path. It's time for us to be there for her!
Any and all donations will go directly to Aunt Sabrina ( by way of her daughter Alana and my uncle Bobo) to pay for her medical expenses, ice cream, and good cheer.
Keep up your prayers and good thoughts, and give a little as well. Thank you all so much for reading this and PLEASE SHARE THIS!!!!!!
