Ildefonso De Leon is one of the nicest and most charismatic characters you will ever meet, and today he needs our help.
A few months back, he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, and between medical bills and day-to-day expenses, he’s had no option but to keep working everyday, while on treatment.
Ildefonso has been an amazing husband, dad, step dad and now a grandpa to my boys Aaron and Aidan.
“Nonno,” as the twins call him, is the type of person who would take food from his plate to feed someone whom he’s just met. He has taken the role of grandpa with a smile on his face and making sure the twins have everything they need or want. Not one day goes by without him calling to check on them.
He has an amazing drive to get over this cancer and has taken treatment like a champ—working after every treatment, waking up at 5am to work as an Uber driver and bringing money however possible. But, it’s getting harder for him by the minute. Even though his body seems to be taking the treatment well, he still has hard days. Due to his condition, his work days are becoming shorter and shorter, and as a result, he’s making less money as the days go by which has been very stressful for him and my mom.
Please, help us help him as he would do the same for anyone without hesitation.
