Help The Brancat Walk Again

Donation protected
Hi my name is Lillian Nugent and I am hoping that I can help Joshua Brancatisano get his independence back and reclaim his life. At the beginning of this year Josh was a very active 23 year old who had an insatiable thirst for the outdoors and living life to the full. He loved going driving, adventure trips, hiking, bushwalking, the beach, camping and online gaming.Josh's health took a turn for the worse and his health declined very rapidly with the discovery of 3 lesions on his brain in at the beginning of this year. He had a double brain biopsy and thankfully the result was benign, and Josh began the road to recovery aided by lots of medication. In February of this year, things began looking up and Josh was able to regain some semblance of normality. even jumping off waterfalls. Unfortunately Joshs symptoms got worse and after spending a great deal of time in Westmead hospital he has lost his independence and is now in a wheelchair and needs assistance to be mobile. They say he has developed Rasmussen Syndrome. This autoimmune disease affects the brain and this is irreversible.Josh has applied for a disability pension and we have applied for NDIS funding. It's now August and we are still waiting for some sort of support and access to medical services.I'm asking for help on behalf of Josh, we need to find a carer for Josh and raise some funds for josh to access physiotherapy getowards emmuscle strength.
