Help For Addyson

We are starting a new fundraiser for Addyson to address her new handicapp accessible bathroom, therapy needs, medical needs, and her transporatation needs. Addyson is growing, becoming more mobile, sitting up more, learning more, and enjoying regular daily actitives. We have started the process of putting in a fully handicap accessible bathroom for Addy. We have been able to get some funds dedicated for this handicap accessible bathroom. We still have a share we are responsible for. We had to have a lot of our house slab dug up for plumming, move our laundry room out to our garage to have room for the handicap accessible bathroom on the lower level, and a lot of electrical work done. We  will owe the contractor soon. Many of you who know Addyson and our family know we are trying to accommodate her disabilities in every way we best can. Addyson is now preparing for an upcoming surgery on October 24th for her trach hole where she breaths from. Addyson's hole is not expanded  to make room for a bigger trach. This is very rare; so Addy will need her hole revised. We will be at Riley Hospital for a week for this. We are staying in a hotel on the 23rd to prepare her for the 24th arrival and Doug and the kids will stay one extra night in the hotel in Indy to make sure Addy is safe before they leave Addy and I at Riley Hospital. Doug will come back to get Addy and I at the end of the week. Help towards hotel and food cost is needed greatly.  Addy  is the happiest little girl who does not ask for anything but many of you have seen how much difference the right equipment, room, therapy item can make in her life. With Addyson growing we have many things coming up we will need to address soon as well. New flooring on the lower level of house to move her special activity chair around better; making the flooring wheelchair accessible. Addyson needs some older age therapy equipment as she turns 4 in March. Addyson's 2013 Van we purchased for her when she was born is her Medical Travel Van; needs 4 new tires and some maintence before winter comes roaring in like a lion. We would love to get her therapy room turned into a "real" thearpy room she can thrive in. Addyson is thriving and needs your help to get her ready to become more mobile and active doing many of the things we all can do just in different ways. We do try to find thrifty ways to help support Addy's needs like fixing old lawn mowers people throw out and resale them; that helped fund our Riley Hospital summer trips.  All funds go directly to pay off our contractor for the Handicap accessible bathroom, to Addyson's Van, Gas for her many Doctors visits to Riley Hospital (5 hour round Trip) 3-5 times a month, Riley Hospital stays, therapy items, equipment, New flooring needed on lower level of house for Addy, Hotel Stays for her doctor appointments and surgeries. We just paid for her new glasses as her eye prescription has changed quickly before the new glasses are allowed. We do not recieve any Social Security Disability money from the government to help with Addyson because Addy's daddy works hard to keep us a float. Addyson requires extra medical supplies the insurance does not pay for.  Addyson will have jaw surgery in the early spring 2017; This will be a two part series Jaw reconstruction. Addyson has endured 23 surgeries and procedures to date  with more coming up in her  near future.  Addyson has Occulio- Auriculo-frontal nasal syndrome, hydrocephalus, respiratory failure, a programmable shunt, a trach and a GJ for feeding. There is about 30 cases in the world documented similar to her.  She has had numerous facial and skull surgeries and will continue  having constructive surgeries to help her head and face as she grows. We are praying Addy may be able to get rid of her trach or even be able to taste a few foods!! She  will be at Riley Hospital for around 7 -10  days for this. We have a two day family stay in Indianapolis on December 21-23 for her 3D reconstruction Cat Scan and her doctor visit on the next day  after the scan.  Any help is welcomed; to help Addyson in any way is welcomed; if you know someone who could help with new Tires; A van tune up; flooring etc would be helpful.
