Over the past 8 years, Jared, 28 has dedicated his life to serving his country in the United States Coast Guard. He joined in July of 2008 and since then has risen to the rank of E6 (MK1). Jared is many things to many people; husband, father, son, shipmate, and friend. He is undoubtedly one of the most selfless and dedicated people any of us have had the pleasure of knowing, always willing to help and go the extra mile for any one in need, whether it's taking an extra watch or being an ear to listen.
Now Jared and his family need our help. Jared was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Jareds wife Marissa and son Colton (2 years old) are now in a situation every family prays they will never face. Although Jareds prognosis is positive, the financial burden of traveling to the hospital, parking, food etc. along with the financial responsibilities of a household is proving to be just as devistating for the Reaves family. Jared has always been there for us, and now in his time of need, it is time for us to be there for him. Please consider donating and relieving some of the burden from this amazing family. Thank you!
