Support for Myles
Donation protected
Makenzie posted this to Facebook last night (Tuesday, April 19) to update everyone of what happened to Myles... We started this page to show support as Nick is not working through this and to ask for prayers as well. We will continue to keep everyone updated. Myles is a truly amazing and positive child, and Makenzie and Nick are two of the greatest people you could ever meet. Please please please pray for them and anything you can give will be sincerely and greatly appreciated.
Dear family, friends, anyone who has crossed my path in the last two days to help take care of myles, and to all those saying prayers and sending positive thoughts words will never be able to express how grateful and humbled I am by the outpour of support from you all. We are staying positive about everything but at times is very difficult. For those that are not aware of what is happening Myles had suffered a very sever asthma attack on Monday morning leaving him unresponsive. Due to that I started compressions until first responders came. CPR was given for 15 minutes and they had to give him 2 shots of epinephrine to restart his heart. We are unsure at this moment if there is brain damage(which they think there may be some due to lack of oxygen) but he will be going for a CT scan Thursday to determine that. They have him heavily sedated to rest his brain. He did have a few seizures but the meds they gave helped those. Right now is the 72 hour waiting period for his scan. Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart. I will give updates on here once we know more. Just continue praying please and also give all your babies, furbabies, and loved ones a big hug when you see them next and NEVER take a single moment in life for granted.
