Donation protected
Lyman Hill, of Cullman, was involved in a bad car accident on July 13, 2016. He had to be cut from his vehicle and airlifted to UAB Hospital for treatment. Lyman suffered severe injuries including a broken left femur, fractured knee cap, fractured L1, L2, and L3 vertebrae, a lacerated spleen, bruised lungs, and the tip of his spine was broken off. Lyman also suffered several large skin lacerations and had broken glass in both eyes. Lyman underwent emergency surgery to repair his femur. Doctors had to place a rod and several screws in his leg. Lyman has been in TBICU since the accident. He will remain in the hospital for several more days then, he will be tranferred to UAB Spine Rehabilitation for several weeks of therapy. Lyman will have to remain non-weight bearing for 3 months and through therapy will slowly learn to walk again. Lyman is the father of one son, a 17 year old senior in high school and a daughter, a 14 year old freshman in high school. Lyman's wife will bear the sole responbility for his care and cost of his medical coverage. Please donate what you can to help this wonderful family get through their time of need.
