Bonnie Roddenberg Stage 4 Carcinoma
Donation protected
Bonnie Roddenberg is a Fowlerville Community Schools employee who has given her life to children and her community. Bonnie has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Carcinoma. Those of you who know Bonnie, know that she lost her son, Nicholas to a tragic car accident last October. This has taken an emotional toll on her family which has been almost impossible to recover. This has also been a financial burden on Bonnie.
In April, Bonnie was not feeling well. Due the stress in her life, it was easy to assume that it would be an ulcer or something with her gallbladder. Further tests detected a mass on her liver. A biopsy would give her the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer. This is almost more than Bonnie and her son, Alex can comprehend. She has to undergo several treatments of chemotherapy with the hope of reducing the size of the tumor and hopeful remission.
Bonnie is an employee that is paid during the school year. She has always worked in the Summer to pay her bills. With the continuous treatments of chemotherapy, she will be unable to work. She is traveling to St. Joseph's hospital in Ann Arbor. As a widow and with the devastating loss of her son in October, the financial burden is overwhelming. The money will be used to pay her mortgage, medical bills as well as her transportation to and from the hospital. Bonnie is so thankful for your well wishes and support.
