Jesse Sopp's Memorial Fund

Jesse passed away suddenly on June 26th, 2016 in a tragic drowning accident. Jesse was a special person that didn't let Autism define him. He was a hard worker with a big heart. He lit up the room with his glowing smile and and made friends wherever he was. Although he had his own struggle with mental health he was a dedicated volunteer at Paxton Ministries in Harrisburg, PA. a Christ-centered nonprofit organization providing affordable housing and support services to adults in need, many of whom are challenged with poverty, mental illness, or intellectual disabilities. In high school, East Pennsboro, he served as the sports manager for basketball, football, and track. Jesse touched the lives of many people of all ages in his short 27 years of life here on this earth. In lieu of flowers we are asking for memorial contributions to celebrate his life and to give back to non-profit organizations that have helped Jesse throughout the years, such as Paxton Street Ministries, Special Olympics, Keystone Social Services and East Pennsboro High School sports programs. Jesse would be so proud to know that with you help he was able to continue to give back to the organizations that impacted his life so greatly.
