My name is Kevin Weatherby. On January 26 my wife Heather gave birth to twin boys Logan and Dylan. However Logan and Dylan decided to enter the world almost 8 weeks early. They are currently in the neonatal intensive care unit at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia over and hour away from our home. They require a very high level of care that includes breathing support, IV medications and feeding by feeding tube.
Though most of hospital care is covered by our insurance what is not covered is the mounting expense of travel, tolls, lodging and basic needs for us to be close to our sons. We are hoping to raise enough money to be able to stay in Philadelphia so we can help care for our sons.
Money raised will go directly to the above cost. Any unused money will be donated to Abington Health Foundation a nonprofit foundation that financially supports the efforts of Jefferson Health, specifically neonatal research.
Nothing is more important to us than being close to our sons while they fight and grow stronger. We want nothing more than them to be healthy and home.
