No more pain, no more

Our beautiful Shyra, recently recovered from removal of an uncomfortable ovarian cyst. We now have the cyst to thank for possibly saving her life! The surgeon discovered upon examination a suspicious growth on her opposite ovary & decided it was best to remove the whole ovary. The test results were devastating, positive for an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Doctors & her family are baffled as to this diagnosis as there is no family history & she is healthy & young. 2020 was a challenging year with Covid heavily affecting her and Mahmoud’s income. They had hoped for a brighter 2021 & now faced with an emotional, physical, & financial fight to save her life. The cancer has metastasized & spread to the outer lining of her abdomen & other areas of concern are the lungs. She will need surgery to determine exactly what stage the cancer is. We hope to alleviate some stress in the costs for treatment (both eastern & western medicine) & so appreciate your generosity, thoughts and prayers! Every cent counts on fighting this monster. Due to the seriousness and aggression of the cancer her life is still at stake and it's going to be a lengthy road to fight & recover with both Western medicine and holistic integrative medicine to combat and alleviate the side effects of the chemotherapy.
