Alex Oakland

As many may know my husband Alex has suffered from hydrocephalus his whole life. He has had many brain surgeries due to the hydrocephalus. Over the last year and a half Alex has needed 4 shunt revisions and has recently suffered from severe daily headaches. Talking to his doctors they have decided that the best course of action would be to do a forehead reconstruction surgery. They have attempted this surgery twice in the past but it has always ended in an infection. As you may expect we are very nervous about this surgery due to his history. Due to Alex's surgeries and covid-19 he is unable to work at this time so I am the only one that is currently working. I have put together this fundraiser to try to raise money to help with Alex's medical bills as they continue to pile up. I know it is a hard time for most people due to covid-19. However if you are able to help any little bit is greatly appreciated.
