Lexi's Mobility Fund-Wheel4lexi
Donation protected
My name is Sherrie. My daughter Alexis (Lexi) is 100% disabled with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She requires around the clock care, assistive technology, and medical and mobility equipment just to get through daily life. Lexi has endured countless surgeries that range from corrective bone surgeries to complicated internal adaptations to allow her the ability to move and receive nutrition. Lexi was homebound for 7 months without the without transportation to doctor's appointment or even church. My slow climb out of poverty has left me at middle class with so much debt that I can't afford payments on a conversion van or many of the home equipment needs that Lexi is faced with. We have qualified for a van with a disability converson. However, we lack the ability to make payments due to keeping a roof over our heads and covering basic needs. Lexi needs donations to cover the cost of her disability conversion van so she can go to the doctors, church, outings that will enhance her day to day life, and transportation in the event of a natural disaster or any other kind of emergency. This would mean the world to Lexi because she is vibrant and enjoys spreading joy to everyone she meets. Our family would be so grateful for your contribution to her life enhancing need and daily mobility. Lexi is in need of home modification and ongoing care so we need to pay down this transportation expense as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your support and love.
