The Carnegie Mellon University Table Tennis Team recently qualified for the 2023 NCTTA Collegiate National Championships in Round Rock, Texas. As a college table tennis club that competes on the national level, our team desperately requires financial aid to travel to these collegiate tournaments.
This year we have an incredibly talented team, including the top players from the state of Pennsylvania, Texas and New Jersey. During the Fall semester and earlier this Spring semester, we competed in the Pennsylvania Divisional competitions, and we placed Top 2 both times. In the MidAtlantic Regional tournament, we placed second in the Co-ed team event. We have been practicing extremely hard and are very excited to compete with other top universities from across the US.
Unfortunately, we currently get no money for the national competition, so we could use your help. Our club members are some of the best players in the Pennsylvania region, yet we are struggling to compete for Carnegie Mellon due to a lack of funding. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help pay for travel costs, hotels, and tournament registration fees.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting us in this amazing opportunity!
