To Be a Man by Rick Steinberger

Those that knew Rick, loved him and it was evident in the way that he lived his life he was a man of faith and instilled strong Christian values in his family that they will carry on to their own children and grandchildren someday. Rick had 6 children, each one so unique in their own way. He was so very proud of each of them and while he was sick, fighting cancer he sent me the following message: "During all my sitting around time the past year I obviously did a good bit of thinking. A lot of it was about the kids. So I took all those thoughts and gathered them together and wrote a song about them. I actually just wrote the lyrics. I took the lyrics to Dar Bradley and she found a band to record the song." After a 14 month battle with stage 4 oral cancer, in which he fought hard and put it all in the Lord's hands, on April 22, 2020 Rick peacefully passed away to be with our Lord..he was surrounded by his family. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to his wife Stacy and their children. A portion of the money raised during the first 2 weeks of the song being released will go to the Happy Hoofers Relay for Life Team per Ricks request.
