Emergency Bushfire Relief For Barry
Donation protected
I am Amanda Blunsdon, Barry Mitchell's daughter. On the 8th of November 2019, Dad lost his home In South Arm near Nambucca in the raging NSW fires. With 20 minutes warning they were advised to evacuate. As they were leaving the property the flames came over the hill speeding towards their home. It has been confirmed by neighbours that the entire property has been reduced to ashes. Everything has been lost. Many would know that dad is now completely blind, and living on a disability pension. Thankfully they are insured, but these things take time and certainly never cover everything. They are currently staying with friends and have been offered some temporary accommodation, which is amazing. We are hoping to get a little emergency cash together for Dad and Julie, his wife, to help them get some essential supplies like clothes, food, toiletries, medication, medical equipment and some basic furniture to get back on their feet. Whatever you can contribute, big or small, will be most greatly appreciated. It’s hard being so far away in Bunbury, WA but we hope this small contribution can make a big difference to Dad. To make things easier for dad with his disability, I will withdraw the donations and direct deposit the funds to him. Thank you ❤️
