Joseph Newland

Joe is in Cardiac ICU that is 2 hours away from home. He is still very very sick. Due to the travel time and his fragile state the family is not able to go home every day. We have been sleeping on hospital floors on days that he's not good, and when he is doing ok, there is a family house for families of critically ill patients. However, we still have to pay for this lodging. We have been warned many times over that this recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. It is expected that he will be here for quite a while. And while we know his medical bills will be astronomical, right now we are just focused on being able to be here with him. This money raised now will go to cover the cost of the family house and meals while we are here. We greatly appreciate all of the love and support everyone has already shown us.
