Memorial for Colevin McGrath

In May, 2019 Shelby and Zane McGrath received the heart-breaking news that something was wrong with their unborn baby. He was diagnosed with a rare Lower Urinary Bladder Obstruction or LUTO.

This blockage prevented urine from escaping his bladder and going into the amniotic cavity which resulted in a complete loss of fluid. Shelby underwent two different shunt procedures to try to replace the fluid and drain the bladder which worked for a time. Unfortunately, as a result, Colevin's kidney's stopped working and no more urine was produced. She was without fluid from about week 25 until he was delivered at week 36, September 1, 2019 by emergency C-section. 

We were hoping and praying that Colevin would have enough fluid to get past the critical stage of lung development, but that was not the case, and he was born with pulmonary hypoplasia as well as kidney and bladder issues.

Colevin Timothy Lee McGrath lived for almost three hours and knew nothing but love. Shelby and Zane are heart-broken beyond belief, but are believing all things happen for a reason even when we don't understand. Although we raised money with a previous page, it was for all the medical bills associated with this difficult pregnancy. Now on top of increasing medical bills, there will be the added expense of putting their angel to rest. If you can help, any amount will be so very much appreciated.
