Donation protected
June 12th 2020 at 12 weeks pregnant myself and Philip lost our much loved 3rd baby.
The maternity system in Ireland is fanatastic, it will always have a special part in my heart for ensuring the safe delivery of our beautuful boys Freddie and George.
Unfortuantly I among many other women in our country have experienced loss within our maternity service. There is room for change, there is room for improvement, there is room for educataion and there is room to encourage awareness surrounding pregnancy loss and miscarriage.
On July 1st 2020, 2 weeks after our loss I sat myself the a challenge to run 100km in the month of july. I wanted a distraction something to focus on other then the pain in my heart. I did it for me; Now I need help.
I am calling on all my family and friends to help me help the women of yesterday, today and tomorrow who may need the help of the miscarriage association of ireland.
The miscarriage association of Ireland offer counselling, remberance services and raise much need awareness of pregnancy loss. They need money to continue to offer these servives.
pregnancy loss affects approx 1 in 4 pregnancies in Ireland, lets talk about it today. #pregnancyloss
thank you all so much
