100km in 7 days for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland
Donation protected
In an effort to help raise much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, members of Castleknock Celtic's Senior 1B football team will take part in a challenge to run 100 kilometres each, over the next 7 days, from Tuesday the 5th of May to Monday the 11th of May.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is an inherited condition that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. Ireland has the highest incidence of Cystic Fibrosis in the world – approximately 1 in 19 Irish people are said to 'carry' one copy of the altered gene that causes CF.
Your support for this very worthy charity would be greatly appreciated.
