Hi, I’m Dec and I’m running 100 miles in 24 hours, alongside a good friend of mine Ash and one of his mates.
We thought this would be a perfect opportunity to raise money for charity and I decided to raise money for Bristol Children’s Hospital as they have supported my little cousin Lottie through her cancer journey. Lottie was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) at just 15 months old and she’s still fighting today at 7 years old. She truly is an inspiration to keep pushing and that’s why I’m running 100 miles to push myself to the limit and raise awareness for people that are fighting cancer.
Bristol Children’s Hospital have been by Lotties side for years, she knows all of the nurses and doctors and has spent many nights there, which isn’t ideal but the fact is that she feels safe and cared for in their hands. Which is why I think this is a great opportunity to raise some money for them so they can keep doing what they’re doing.
Follow my instagram (@dec.ebh) and follow Ash’s instagram (@ashleymitchard1) for updates. Date will be announced soon
Any donations or support will be greatly appreciated
