Take Heart, Avi!
Donation protected
On January 17th, 2019, musician Avi Haviv had a heart attack, followed by open heart surgery on January 21st . . . MLK Day; a perfect day for open hearts.
Recovery is going to be a long haul of 6–8 weeks for a family that has already been struggling to survive gig to gig and has no savings to fall back on. Avi, his wife Melissa, and their ten year old son, Dylan could use some community support. Avi won’t be able to work again until March (and won’t be back to his full, hard hustling self for even longer), and the family has suddenly accumulated significant debt.
If you have spare cash and feel moved to contribute towards alleviating the Haviv family’s financial crisis, this is a family that will absolutely pay it forward.
There is also a Meal Train for the family, at https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/l9r42w
