Students compete in FIRST Robotics World Championships

This April, tens of thousands of high school students from around the world and their 1,300 robots will head to Houston and Detroit to compete in the ultimate sport of the mind: the FIRST Robotics Championships. This marks the world’s largest celebration of science, innovation and STEM.

Teams from across the US, Canada and Australia have started over 85 GoFundMes that have raised over $225,000 to help with travel and lodging costs, competition registration fees, and transportation of their robots. To find a campaign in your area and support your local students, see below.
