Code Signing Cert for Altium DB

I have been offering the largest open source component database for Altium on GitHub for over a year. Until now, all database access requests have been handled manually - creating the user account, firewall rules and permissions for every user.
I have just released the first revision of the self-management tool on GitHub, the CelestialADB. This is a huge step forward for me and the project as a whole. By allowing users to register and update their firewall rules without my intervention there will no longer be a huge backlog of requests for access.
Unfortunately, I don't own a Code Signing Certificate , so users of Windows 8 and up will be told the software isn't trustworthy when they download and install it. The cheapest reputable code signing certificate I've been able to find is from InstantSSL at US$179 for a year. I'm not in a position to pay for that out of pocket. The Azure database costs about CA$55 per month as it as, and with increased ease of access from this application that is likely to rise.
The database is visited between 400 and 1000 times per day, with around 10-100 clones per day. I'm hoping that some of you might have a few dollars to pitch in towards a code signing certificate to help with adoption of the desktop software. That being said, I know many users are student/academic so the library has a lot less value in time saved - however if you are a business user please consider how much time the library will save you :)
For the requested funds, the cost break down purely for the certificate and fees:
* Certificate is US$179, or about CA$250
* GoFundMe take 5%, plus a bit over 2.9% for transaction fees - which is about CA$25
Any additional funds will be set aside for developing the codebase of the desktop application further. There's information on my wishlist on the GitHub page for that.
