WIGS and WISHES

Wigs and Wishes by Martino Cartier is a network of salon owners, stylists and beauty industry
experts joined together with one mission:
to provide courageous women fighting cancer with a wig at no cost, and grant wishes to children
battling cancer.

2020 will mark a special anniversary for Wigs and Wishes along with a special mission.

Cartier, describes the foundations vision.
"Our goal for 2020 is to raise the funds necessary
to create the Home of Wigs & Wishes. For the last 10 years we have been very fortunate to build a
strong foundation for our mission to help women
and children battling cancer. As our foundation has grown, so has the increased demand for funding
needed to provide wigs at no cost and grant
wishes. Our goal is to never, ever turn a woman or child battling cancer away. In 2020, we will begin
the process of building our Home. This home will
serve as a headquarters for our administration and volunteers to coordinate, collaborate and
fundraise to sustain our mission year after year. It will provide a residence, sanctuary and play area
for families traveling with children for treatment.   It will provide a space for women, children and
families to gather for support services. And a wig
room for women to receive consultations and wig
fittings in a supportive atmosphere."

Martino Cartier will host the annual gala fundraising event for the foundation in October -November 2020. The goal of this signature fundraising event is to raise funds for the Home of Wigs and Wishes and beyond, all in a effort to help women and children battling cancer. Visit www.wigsandwishes.org

This charity is so very important to me. Meeting the families, children and women that it helps lets me know how important this work is. Wigs & Wishes is 100% volunteers, there are no paid staff members. All monies go directly to providing wigs for women battling cancer, and grant wishes to children with terminal cancer. The goal is beyond saving lives its about making them happy while they are here. This alligns so much with what I do in my daily life with dance. Dance can change lives. So I have partnered up with the amazing Arthur Murray Dance Centers internationally, Dance It Out®, Blanks Studios, and The Wall Street Theater and we are dancing this National Dance Day to raise money for these beautiful families.
