Urban Destiny Life Center

Hi, my name is Sandra Williams. I am the founder of Urban Destiny Life Center, a nonprofit organization that provides a safe supportive enviornment with a mission to Support, Learn, and Grow the lives of families, youth, and children.

Our free summer youth program, operated from July 21-July 25, 2025, provides meaningful Art Therapy for children and young adults experiencing trauma to receive emotional support and opportunities to heal and express their feeling through art, play, story telling, and music.

We have a team of trained staffed, volunteers and administrators who teach children how to verbalize their feelings, promote positve emotions and a gain a sense of control while receiving skill building activities and developing resilience.

Your tax-deductible donation will help create a more enriching experience for attendees and support with supplies, salaries, materials, writing tools, printing, marketing, meals, workshops, and field trips.

I watch someone very close to me struggle in their adolescence and adult life because of re-experiencing the traumatic events from their childhood. I did not understand then what I know now about " Adverse Childhood Experience", also known as ACE'S. I want to give back to my community by sharing my passion and knowledge about Trauma-informed and Resilience to promote healing and well-being for children faced with unexpected challenges build a positive future.
